Andy Cohen admits getting kicked off of dating apps

Andy Cohen isn’t getting love from the dating apps themselves.

The 49-year-old host has been stopped by “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” for Thursday’s episode— where he has revealed that it was “fun” to be single and back on the dating scene.

Andy has said that he was searching for love on a few dating apps, joking that he would happily swipe right on Ellen’s guest DJ, “Jersey Shore” Pauly D. Though he is not on Raya— a dating app geared towards the celebs— he has said that he has gone for more common apps like Tinder.

However, the Bravo host is having difficulties with another matchmaking program. He has revealed that there is a gay dating app that he is on that he keeps getting kicked off of as they think he is impersonating Andy Cohen.

He has said, “They’re like, ‘Your photos don’t meet our guidelines,’ and I’m like, ‘It is me!’” Ellen has warned him that he might find other profiles using his pictures after admitting that it’s really him.

The talk show host has also touched on the chance encounter which has happened during an episode of “Watch What Happens Live” this week when a young member of the crowd asked Andy on a date.

He recalled, “I was like, ‘Are you even over 25?’ And he was like, ‘Almost’. And I said, ‘I think you might be too young.’” Andy has recently admitted to PEOPLE that he wasn’t against finding a match on television.

He has said that somebody is going to get up, on TV, and ask him out someday and they are going to end up getting married and they will have met so cute.

Andy has explained, he’s looking for a man who is “strong, independent, funny and handsome and he wants someone who has their own thing going on,” as for his ideal partner.
