The New England Patriots quarterback is well-known of his strict diet, no white sugar, white flour, MSG, caffeine, fungus, dairy or nightshades, but all it took was some associate pressure from Stephen Colbert for Tom Brady to get wild.
The 40-year-old football star has told New York Magazine in 2016 that he has never eaten a strawberry in his life and has no desire to do that. Tom has reacted to those sentiments on ‘The Late Show Monday’ and has told the host that despite never having one, he even hates the smell of the red fruit.
Stephen joked, “That’s springtime, Tom.” Stephen has shown the athlete with a bowl of strawberries daring Tom to take a bite. After getting convinced, Tom took a bite and said: “Not that bad.” He has declared, “I did it. Mom, are you proud of me?”
Tom— who has halted the talk show to promote his new book ‘The TB12 Method’— has revealed that he has arrived a long way from the diet of his younger years, which has included pizzas, cheeseburgers, and beer frequently on the menu. As soon as Tom named the drink, the host asked him: “You don’t drink beer?” to which Tom responded, “Rarely.” Then, the host has pulled two glasses of the beverage out from behind his desk.
Tom has warned Stephen, “I was a pretty good beer chugger back in the day,” before they have decided to make it a clash. Tom’s strengths have been revealed before when teammate Brian Hoyer has told ESPN’s Mike Reiss that the star won a contest among the team during a road trip. Brian has said that they have linemen, Julian Edelman, they all think they are going to win. But many times, Tom and his wife Gisele Bundchen are the fans of their healthy meals as well as the way their diet makes them feel.
