On Tuesday, while taking the stage at Forbes Women’s Summit, Victoria got the age-old topic about how she has handled everything in her life in Hollywood— including her family of six and her marriage of 20 years to David Beckham.
The couple’s spokeswoman vehemently denied about the previous speculation that she and David were planning to split – the British star spoke glowingly of her long-time partner, mainly when it came to sharing the load as parents. She said, “When I’m away, he is at home doing the school run, cooking dinner, helping with homework. It’s about being in a working partnership.” According to Hello!, she termed him, ”I have the support of an incredible husband.” While keeping work separate from family time can be its challenge—she admitted to sneaking to the bathroom to send work email on the weekends— the former Spice Girl-fashion mogul is trying to give every part of her life her best effort.
She elucidated, “I try hard. I try hardest to be the best mother. I am trying to be the best professional and the best wife. When I reach home, I try to spend time with the children and spend time with David by putting down the phone. A few days ago, the star praised her right-hand man in honour of Father’s Day.
Victoria captioned a sweet shot of the soccer star, “Happy Father’s day @davidbeckham to the best daddy in the world! X We all love you so much. X so many kisses from us all x,” holding a “Daddy” mug surrounded by cards and gifts. Previously, the couple’s spokeswoman told The Sun, for those pesky divorce rumours, “There is no statement due, no divorce, and a lot of Chinese whispers and fake social media news. This is an embarrassing waste of time.” The couple’s rep ingeminated to E! News that the speculation is “absolutely not true.”
