The dedicated fans and physicist and people who worship the cosmic guru, Stephen Hawking, now have a chance to buy a few of Hawking’s effect and scientific papers in an online auction which is set to be conducted by Christie’s.

The auctioneer has reportedly placed 22 items of Dr. Hawking under the hammer which includes Dr. Hawking’s doctoral thesis on the origins of the universe, a script from an appearance in the critically acclaimed long-running cartoon series “The Simpsons” and also one of the early wheelchairs of Hawking.

Hawking, author and a physicist died in the March of 2018 at the age of 76. For most of Stephen Hawking’s life, he suffered from a rare and an early-onset, slow-progressing form of a motor neuron disease.

The sale is an integral segment of a broader auction titled as “On the Shoulders of Giants: Newton, Darwin, Einstein, and Hawking.” The bids are open from 31st of October until 8th of November.

Stephen Hawking gained international fame after he published his best-selling book “A Brief History of Time” in the year 1988. In the book, Hawking attempted the origins of the universe along with the presence of black holes in the universe.

One of the copies of “A Brief History of Time” along with a thumbprint of the scientist is put on the sale with an estimated price range from $2,250 to $3,870.

The most expensive of the items placed at auctions is a signed Ph.D. thesis of Hawking which he had reportedly submitted to the Cambridge University in 1965. The thesis centered around the idea that the universe is expanding every day. For the thesis paper, the auction house has started inviting the bid starting from $126,000.

For the fans of Hawking with a little cash, they can buy some of the mundane items which include a bomber jacket and an invitation to a talk that he gave in the year 2009.
